Product Details

Numerous bacterial infections, including pharyngitis/tonsillitis (throat infections), otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (infection of the sinuses), community-acquired pneumonia, gonorrhoea (STD), female anorectal infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections, can be treated with Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet.

Cefpodoxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic, and Clavulanic acid, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, are both present in Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet. Cefpodoxime functions by inhibiting the development of bacterial cell covering, which is essential to the bacteria’s ability to survive. It kills the germs as a result. By reducing bacterial resistance and increasing Cefpodoxime’s antibacterial effectiveness, clavulanic acid works. Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet works in concert to cure bacterial infections.

Gudcef-CV 100 Tablets should be taken with meals. Depending on your health and the extent of the infection, the dosage and length of time for Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet may change. You might occasionally suffer from common side symptoms such nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. The majority of these side effects go away on their own with time and don’t need medical intervention. However, if these side effects become persistent, you should consult your physician.

Before taking Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet, please let your doctor know if you have liver, renal, or allergy issues (against any antibiotic). Avoid taking your name by yourself because doing so might result in antibiotic resistance, which makes antibiotics less effective against some bacterial infections. If you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, speak with your doctor before using Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet. Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet should not be taken when nursing because it may end up in breast milk. To avoid unpleasant side effects, abstain from alcohol while taking Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet. Drive carefully because Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet may make you feel lightheaded.

Benefits of Medicine

Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat various bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis (throat infections), otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (infection of the sinuses), community-acquired pneumonia, gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease), anorectal infections in women, skin, and urinary tract infections. Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime (cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefpodoxime works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thus, it kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of cefpodoxime against the bacteria. Together, Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet helps to treat bacterial infections. Gudcef-CV 100 Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including beta-lactamase-producing strains.
