The Foracort 200 Inhaler is a prescription medication from Cipla Ltd., formulated to manage and prevent symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each inhaler delivers 120 metered doses (MDI) and contains two active ingredients:
Budesonide (200 mcg): A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways.
Formoterol Fumarate (6 mcg): A long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, facilitating easier breathing.
Preparation: Shake the inhaler well before each use.
Inhalation:
Exhale fully to empty your lungs.
Place the mouthpiece in your mouth, sealing your lips around it.
Inhale deeply while pressing down on the inhaler to release the medication.
Post-Inhalation: Hold your breath for about 10 seconds to allow the medication to settle in your lungs.
Rinse Mouth: After use, rinse your mouth with water to minimize the risk of oral fungal infections.
