About Dapaglyn 5 Tablet
The ‘anti-diabetic’ drug class, which includes Dapaglyn 5 Tablet, is mainly used to treat and manage type 2 diabetes. When there is either insufficient insulin or when our body cells do not effectively use the insulin that is available to decrease elevated blood glucose, type 2 diabetes develops. About 90% of all occurrences of diabetes are of this type, which is most prevalent in middle-aged individuals. Therefore, non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) or adult-onset diabetes are other names for it.
‘Dapagliflozin’, a protein called sodium-glucose cotransporters-2 (SGLT-2 inhibitor) that is present in Dapaglyn 5 Tablet, increases the excretion of glucose through urine by blocking the body’s ability to reabsorb glucose. Removing too much glucose contributes to lowering blood sugar levels.
As directed, take 5 Dapaglyn tablets. Depending on your health, your doctor will advise you on how frequently to take Dapaglyn 5 Tablets. Urinary tract infections, hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), increased thirst, skin rashes, dizziness, and nausea are all possible side effects. The majority of these Dapaglyn 5 Tablet side effects go away with time and don’t need medical intervention. However, consult your physician if the adverse effects are severe.
Before using any of these medications, please let your doctor know if you have a hypersensitivity to any of their ingredients. Children less than 18 are not permitted to take Dapaglyn 5 Tablets. Before your doctor prescribes this medication, let them know if you are a woman who is pregnant, nursing, or intends to become pregnant. When taken with diuretics, Dapaglyn 5 Tablet may drop blood pressure, raise the risk of dehydration, and cause kidney issues. If you use any additional medications, let your doctor know. If your doctor has not instructed you to take or stop taking Dapaglyn 5 Tablets, do not do so.

Consequently, it stops glucose from being reabsorbed from the

Drug Warnings
If you have severe kidney disease, high blood or urine ketone levels, heart disease, congestive heart failure, liver disease, or are on insulin or other oral diabetes drugs, let your doctor know. You should also let them know if you are allergic to Dapaglyn 5 Tablet and other medications. When taken with other diabetic drugs, Dapaglyn 5 Tablet may drastically drop blood sugar levels, resulting in hypoglycemia, a potentially dangerous condition. In this situation, your doctor could lower the dosage of Dapaglyn 5 Tablet or another diabetes medication. Even if a person feels that their blood sugar levels are under control, they should continue taking Dapaglyn 5 Tablets because it has the potential to raise blood sugar levels once more.
When taking Dapaglyn 5 Tablets, you should consume small, frequent meals and avoid fasting. Look for signs of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), such as sweating, lightheadedness, dry mouth, dry skin, palpitations, chills, extreme thirst, and frequent urine. Take honey or sugar candies right away and see a doctor if you experience any of the symptoms listed.
