Description

Product Details
Cilacar C Tablets are used to treat high blood pressure, or hypertension. A chronic condition known as hypertension is characterised by a continuous increase in blood pressure. When the force of the blood against the artery wall (blood vessel) increases, blood pressure rises. The heart must work more to pump blood when blood pressure is higher. Consequently, it causes irregular heartbeats, heart disease, and other problems. Cilnidipine and chlorthalidone are the two medications that make up Cilacar C Tablet. Cilnidipine inhibits the calcium channels found in the heart’s blood arteries. By widening the blood vessels, this impact reduces the pressure that the blood puts on the blood vessel walls. It lessens the heart’s workload. Additionally, it lowers the chance of a heart attack or stroke. Chlorthalidone is a water pill or diuretic. It lowers blood pressure by boosting urine, which helps the body eliminate extra water and salt. It lessens the swelling and oedema (fluid accumulation) brought on by high blood pressure. As directed by your physician, you should take this medication. Cilacar C Tablet frequently causes peripheral oedema (swelling of the hands and legs), flushing (reddening of the skin), rash, impotence (erectile dysfunction), gingival hyperplasia (gum overgrowth), low blood pressure (feeling lightheaded), headache, dizziness, palpitations (racing or pounding heart), increased frequency of urination, and lethargy (lack of energy). If any of these adverse effects worsen or continue, let your doctor know. If you have an allergy to chlorthalidone, cilnidipine, or any of the other ingredients in Cilacar C Tablet, do not take it. If you have a sulfa drug allergy or are unable to urinate, do not take Cilacar C Tablet. If you have renal illness, heart failure, diabetes, gout (a kind of arthritis), high cholesterol, aortic stenosis (narrowing of the aortic valve), cardiogenic shock (sudden halting of blood flow to the heart), or are following a low-salt diet, let your doctor know before using Cilacar C Tablet. Additionally, let your doctor know if you are nursing a baby or pregnant.

Benefits of Medicine
Cilnidipine and chlorthalidone are the two medications that make up Cilacar C Tablet. Cilnidipine inhibits the calcium channels found in the heart’s blood arteries. By widening the blood vessels, this impact reduces the pressure that the blood puts on the blood vessel walls. It lessens the heart’s workload. Chlorthalidone is a water pill or diuretic. It lowers blood pressure by boosting urine, which helps the body eliminate extra water and salt. It lessens the swelling brought on by hypertension and oedema, or fluid accumulation. When taken together, Cilacar C Tablets can successfully lower blood pressure and the consequences of this illness, including heart attacks.

Warnings About Drugs
Electrolyte abnormalities (low blood levels of potassium, sodium, or magnesium) may result from taking Cilacar C Tablet. Therefore, if you experience diarrhoea or vomiting, see your doctor right away because using Cilacar C Tablets for these conditions might cause severe dehydration. To keep an eye on electrolyte levels, your doctor could run blood and urine tests. Avoid getting up too quickly from a sitting or laying posture because Cilacar C Tablet may cause dizziness. Because Cilacar C Tablet increases the frequency of urine, stay hydrated and stay out of the heat. Cilacar C Tablet should not be stopped suddenly as this could raise the risk of a heart attack.
Advise
Because chlorthalidone in Cilacar C Tablet may alter electrolyte levels, your doctor might suggest routine electrolyte monitoring.
