Lasix Tablet is used to treat oedema (a build-up of fluid in the body), high blood pressure, and heart failure. It is a member of the class of medications known as diuretics, which enhance the output of urine. A persistent illness known as hypertension, or high blood pressure, occurs when the blood exerts a significant strain on the arterial wall. The heart must work more to pump blood when blood pressure is higher. Consequently, it causes irregular heartbeats, heart disease, and other problems. When bodily fluids become trapped in the tissues of the hands, arms, feet, ankles, and legs due to excessive blood pressure, oedema may result.
The way Lasix Tablets function is by causing the kidneys to produce more urine. It efficiently lowers the body’s excess fluid content and manages oedema, or swelling, brought on by liver, kidney, lung, or heart conditions. As a result, the heart has less work to do and can circulate blood throughout the body more effectively. As a result, it lowers hypertension, which lowers the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Depending on your health, your doctor will prescribe the right dosage and frequency of use. You might occasionally get headaches, nausea, dizziness, or dehydration.
